Meet The Team

My journey into the world of cinema began in 2013 when I took a Literature into Film class at Bloomfield College. Since then my love for film has continued to grow. I love writing about film and helping to promote this beautiful art form. 

I work as a band director, so my primary professional responsibility is the impossible and unenviable task of teaching kids how to count to four. I spend untold hours doing this. Sometimes I am successful. In my occasional moments of spare time, I enjoy watching films, doting on my nephews, and playing single player video games. 

Husband, Father, Teacher. Viewer of films. Reader of books. Still trying to get the hang of Thursdays.

I have loved performance and film from a very young age.  I have found joy in multiple genres, but gravitate toward science-fiction/fantasy, action/adventure.  However, a fun comedy or documentary can make my day.  The advent of “behind the scenes” shows sparked my interest in the nuts and bolts of film, from writing and direction, to the more technical aspects.  A nice morsel of trivia is like found treasure.  Study and discussion of the art of film has been a long held pastime of mine, and I look forward to bringing forward my insights. 

Ever since I was a kid, I have loved movies. My grandfather and I would go see movies all the time and those moments mean so much to me. My passion for films has only increased in the years since, as I have reviewed many films and will review many more! 

Some of my earliest memories involve watching iconic movies with my family, as well as movies my brother and I would make up during childhood. It's entertainment and an art form, and it uniquely shapes us. If you start a conversation with me about movies, TV, or pop culture, you're going to need time to spare.
