AKA (2002)

The acting was very simplistic and less than adequate. The way the film was shot not only seemed useless, but I felt that it was done poorly. The triptych camera seemed to serve very little purpose (the different camera angles did not often add to the story or in any way enhance the film or the experience of watching it). The only thing that I found interesting and/or impressive about the way the film was shot was the fact that director managed to shoot the way he did without any other cameras in the shot (there did happen to be many contention errors between certain shots though and because the same scene was shot again and again may be the reason the director was successful in not having other cameras in the shot). The story was not horrible (the very basis of the story), however, there were bits thrown into the film that seemed almost useless and did not make much sense. As the film progressed the story became worse and worse. Even though the story wasn’t the worst I’ve ever seen, the film was paced terribly and almost nothing took place throughout the entire thing. Due to this I found it hard to pay attention to the film or care about the characters (making it hard to care for the film in general). Sadly, this is quite possibly the worst film I’ve ever watched. http://m.imdb.com/title/tt0317052/
